April 06, (THEWILL) — United States President, Donald Trump, has declared that ongoing U.S. war efforts against Iran are progressing successfully, stating that American forces possess the capability to decisively end the conflict in a single night.
THEWILL reports that the statement comes as military activities intensify, with the United States and its ally, Israel, ramping up coordinated operations targeting key Iranian military infrastructure.
Trump said the US’s war on Iran is going well and that US forces could “take out” the whole country in a single night.
“The entire country can be taken out in one night. And that night might be tomorrow night,” he said amid an earlier deadline for unhindered open access to all shops in the Strait of Hormuz
In a related development, the Israeli military confirmed that its air force carried out a large-scale overnight operation striking critical aviation facilities in Tehran.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) disclosed that dozens of fighter jets targeted three major airports — Bahram, Mehrabad, and Azmayesh — destroying multiple aircraft, helicopters, and other strategic assets.
The IDF said the strikes were part of sustained efforts to degrade the operational capacity of Iran’s air force and the air wing of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), a key component of the country’s military structure.
Mehrabad Airport, which has been repeatedly targeted since the outbreak of hostilities, was identified as a strategic hub allegedly used for the movement of weapons and logistics supporting allied groups in the region.
THEWILL further reports that the latest strikes form part of a broader military campaign that has seen repeated aerial bombardments on Iranian military installations, alongside retaliatory missile and drone attacks by Tehran.
