Greatest entrepreneur to have come out of Africa

Billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola said his friend and Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote is the greatest entrepreneur to have emerged from the continent.

Otedola said this in an X post to commemorate Dangote’s birthday on Thursday.

Born on April 10, 1957, the President of Dangote Group clocked 68 years today.

Otedola said, “Happy Birthday to my Dear Brother @aliko_dangotegcon .

“The greatest entrepreneur to have come out of Africa.”

Meanwhile, Dangote has called for collaborative efforts among stakeholders to tackle Nigeria’s economic challenges, noting that no country can rely solely on external solutions to address its internal problems.

His appeal comes amid global economic uncertainties imposed by US President Donald Trump’s tariff war with China and other nations, which the World Trade Organisation (WTO) warned could shrink global real GDP by 7 percent.

Dangote spoke after emerging ‘Person of the Year 2024’ during the 17th LEADERSHIP Annual Conference and Awards in Abuja on Tuesday.
