Prince Adewole Adebayo, Social Democratic Party (SDP) leader and 2023 presidential candidate, will speak at a George Washington University (GWU) School of Business conference in Washington, D.C., joining global leaders to discuss Africa’s future.

Invited by Interim Dean Prof. Vanessa Gail Perry on March 20, Adebayo will participate in a panel on “Africa Market Entry Strategies and Opportunities: Nigeria,” moderated by Ambassador Omar Arouna.

Perry noted, “This second conference will explore critical challenges and opportunities facing Africa, particularly in digital transformation.” Topics include emerging technologies, trade prospects, natural resources, investment opportunities, and climate finance, aiming to foster sustainable growth and strengthen trade ties with advanced economies.

Adebayo’s inclusion highlights his expertise in economic and governance strategies, often overlooked by Nigeria’s government, and underscores global recognition of his insights on public finance, climate change, and development.

The event follows a successful inaugural conference in April 2024, convening central bank governors, CEOs, tech leaders, and academics.
