Adire, global ethnic elegance

Adire, a traditional textile that originated from the Yoruba ethnic group of Nigeria is one fabric that could be worn at any point in time. 

For casual wears to the office or simple evening outing, this beautifully crafted fabric makes the person who adorns it stand out, especially when it is sewn very well. It is the dyeing technique, which involves using wax or other materials, that creates intricate designs on the fabric.

Unfortunately, faux Adire has flooded the market but A-List Nigerian designers are working tirelessly to create stylish, alluring and vibrant designs from the traditional hand-made Adire to promote our culture and style.
