From the church choir in Nigeria to headlining shows in London and Glasgow, UK-based Nigerian Afrobeats artist Eshin Teeblinks is living proof that passion, resilience, and purpose can chart a path to global impact.

Born Oloruntobi Olushola, Eshin grew up in Nigeria with his grandmother who instilled in him the values of faith, hard work, and purpose. “My upbringing is the compass of my life. She made sure I knew God and also allowed school to pass through me,” he told Saturday Sun.

Despite earning a degree in Geology from the University of Ilorin and a Master’s in Project Management from the University of the West of Scotland, music remained his truest calling. “Music has always been in me, and I knew that one day I would do it full-time,” Eshin further reveals. “Even in school, I made sure to perform at events and dinners—building momentum all along.”

Now based in the UK, Eshin is making waves with his debut album The Best of Me, a deeply personal project that captures his journey of pain, love, struggle, and hope. He’s also championing inclusion by performing for people with learning disabilities and plans to host free concerts to raise awareness for accessibility and equality.

With hit songs like Bounce (Sowapa) and collaborations with artists like Terry Apala, Eshin is poised to take Afro Hip Hop and Afrobeats to new heights. “The world is finally listening,” he says.
