The family of late actress and social media influencer, Monalisa Ayobami Stephen, has announced her burial arrangements following her sudden death last week.
According to a message posted on her verified Instagram profile on Tuesday, Monalisa’s final rites will commence on Thursday, May 22, 2025, with a private interment at noon.
Monalisa reportedly died in Lagos on Tuesday, May 13, after suffering from low blood sugar and internal bleeding.
The news of her passing was first shared by Seun Oloketuyi, founder of the Best of Nollywood Awards, via Instagram.
He wrote, “Brand influencer Monalisa Ayobami Stephen is dead. She died yesterday in Lagos after losing the fight against low sugar and internal bleeding”
Though full details surrounding her health remain unclear, her death has left fans and followers in shock. Monalisa had previously opened up about struggling with depression and mental health issues.
