Editor of Yoruba Tooto newspaper loses father |

The Editor of popular weekly tabloid: “YORUBA TOOTO,” a sister company to: “YORUBA TOOTO TV,” Oyeleye Oladele, has lost his father, Pa Oyeleye Ezekiel Olarinde, aged 73.

Pa Ezekiel, a native of Ogbomoso, Oyo State, died on October 26, 2025.

He was declared dead at BOWEN University Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso after he was transferred from a private hospital owing to a brief illness.

Born on April 19, 1952 in Kumasi, Ghana, Pa Oyeleye spent some years in Kano State before returning to his hometown in the 90s.

He was a farmer in his lifetime and a devoted member of First Baptist Church, Okelerin, Ogbomoso.

According to the family, Pa Oyeleye will be buried on November 20 in Ogbomoso after a service at First Baptist Church, Okelerin, Ogbomoso. 

He is survived by his wife, children, and grandchildren.
