NSC CEO hails Dantsoho’s election as IAPH VP

The Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC) has congratulated Dr. Abubakar Dantsoho, the Managing Director Nigerian Port Authority, on his election as Vice President (Africa) of the International Association of Ports and Harbours (IAPH).

The Executive Secretary/CEO of the Council, Dr. Akutah Ukeyima, described Dr. Dantsoho’s emergence as a remarkable milestone that reflects his exceptional leadership, professional excellence, and unwavering dedication to the growth of the maritime industry.

“This outstanding achievement is a source of pride to Nigeria and a clear recognition of your visionary leadership and steadfast commitment to advancing the maritime and port sector,” Dr. Akutah stated.

The Council commended Dr. Dantsoho for reinforcing Nigeria’s strategic position within the global maritime community and expressed confidence that his tenure will unlock greater opportunities for Africa while accelerating Nigeria’s aspiration of becoming a leading maritime hub.

Reaffirming its commitment, the NSC pledged its full support to Dr. Dantsoho in his new role, particularly in championing port reform, facilitating trade, and driving sustainable growth in the blue economy.
