History beckons as the city’s biggest creative gathering, Entertainment Week Lagos, explodes into Entertainment Week Africa (EWA) – a grand stage set to transform the continent’s cultural economy forever.
From November 18-23, 2025, the nation’s Center of Excellence will play host to the greatest creative convergence ever seen on the continent. Music, film, fashion and tech will collide in one thunderous showcase designed to close the gaps holding back Africa’s multi-billion-dollar creative sector.
What started in 2022 as a Lagos event has now grown into a pan-African movement. Entertainment Week Africa is promising more than concerts and exhibitions – it sets out to connect talent with investors, creators with infrastructure, and local vision with global opportunity.
With the theme: ‘Close the Gap’, EWA is positioning itself as the bridge between untapped creativity and the massive markets waiting to be unlocked. The weeklong festival is loaded with activities: music and fashion carnivals, AI & tech expo, live production showcases, and creative job fairs.
Since inception, the platform has hosted power players, nurtured rising stars and forged global partnerships. Lagos has fast become the creative heartbeat of Africa, and with EWA 2025, that pulse is set to reverberate across the continent and beyond.
Already, registration has opened at www.EWAfrica.com, with the organisers calling on creators, investors and dreamers to join the movement.
