The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has issued a Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) Operations Certificate (ROC) to Caverton Helicopters.
This development showed NCAA’s commitment to safety and ease of doing business in the aviation sector.
The Director-General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Capt. Chris Najomo, presented the certificate to the Managing Director of Caverton Helicopters, Capt. Ibrahim Bello, at the Authority’s headquarters in Abuja.
According to the Director of Consumer Protection and Public Affairs, NCAA, Michael Achimugu, the certification followed a rigorous and painstaking process designed to ensure that the operator met all regulatory and safety standards before approval was granted.
With the issuance of the ROC, Caverton Helicopters is now formally authorised to operate RPAS in Nigeria, further strengthening its service offerings in the aviation industry.
