The Chairman of the Young Lawyers Forum, Nigerian Bar Association, Ota Branch, Ogun State, Bolaji Kuyebi, has successfully graduated from the School of Politics, Policy and Governance (SPPG).
The graduation ceremony, held on Saturday, 4th October, 2025, at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre in Abuja, brought together distinguished leaders, policymakers, and professionals from across Nigeria and Africa.
Among the dignitaries present were Dr. Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka, former Executive Director of UN Women and former Deputy President of South Africa as well as His Excellency, Dr. Alex Otti, Governor of Abia State.
The event, which was aired live on Arise News, also attracted several attendees and guests from across Africa.
Out of the over 400 admitted students, only 262 met the rigorous academic and leadership requirements for graduation — a testament to the demanding and transformative nature of the SPPG programme.
The SPPG, founded by Dr. Obiageli “Oby” Ezekwesili, is widely regarded as one of Africa’s foremost leadership institutions, equipping participants with the knowledge and skills needed to transform politics and governance in Africa.
Bolaji, who has consistently championed youth empowerment and professional development within the legal community, described the experience as a transformative journey that deepened his understanding of governance, democracy, and policy-making.
Speaking on the milestone, he said: “The SPPG journey has been transformative. It has deepened my understanding of governance and strengthened my commitment to contributing meaningfully to Nigeria’s development.”
His graduation from the SPPG marks another milestone in his leadership journey, positioning him to contribute more actively to discussions on law, governance, and nation-building in Nigeria.
