St. Ives Hospital, a leading fertility and family health institution in Nigeria, brought its 2025 activities to a close with a year-end party that celebrated staff commitment, cultural pride and institutional growth.

The event, held on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at the Rotary Hall, GRA, Ikeja, gathered staff members from the hospital’s various branches, management and members of the Board of Directors. Guests arrived in elaborate African royalty-themed outfits, turning the venue into a colourful display of traditional elegance.

Proceedings began in the afternoon with an opening prayer, setting a reflective tone for a year the hospital described as significant for both service delivery and internal growth. A series of interactive activities followed, with the Master of Ceremonies leading games and engagements aimed at encouraging relaxation and camaraderie among staff.

Entertainment featured performances by different hospital branches, including Christmas carols, drama sketches and spoken-word pieces. The presentations highlighted teamwork and creativity, drawing applause from attendees throughout the programme. The celebration also included a raffle draw, where participants won assorted gifts, adding a lighter, festive edge to the gathering.

One of the key moments of the event was the awards and recognition segment, during which staff members were honoured for exceptional performance and dedication. Awards were presented across clinical and administrative categories, acknowledging contributions made over the course of the year. Some of the recipients of the Best Employee and Best Team Player awards include Rachel Inetiabor (Ikeja branch), Ifunanya Okehie (Akowonjo branch), Anthonia Effiong (Festac branch), Ochomma Chioma (Ikoyi branch) and Tolu Justin (Abeokuta).
