In a vibrant cross-continental collaboration, Nigerian Afrobeat artist Dalyboy has joined forces with Tanzanian vocal powerhouse Maua Sama to release a new single titled “I’m Rich I’m a Big Boy.”
The uplifting track, now streaming on all major digital platforms, fuses West African Afrobeat rhythms with East African soul to deliver both groove and meaning.
Far more than a dance-floor anthem, “I’m Rich I’m a Big Boy” carries a profound message; true wealth isn’t measured by material possessions but by good health, peace of mind, and self-belief. The song’s vibrant production blends Afro-Cuban percussion, melodic East African harmonies, and a catchy chorus designed to inspire and uplift listeners.
“This song is about redefining wealth on our own terms. It’s about resilience, purpose, and owning your journey, whether or not you fit the world’s idea of success,” Dalyboy explained. Maua Sama, one of Tanzania’s most respected female voices, adds emotional depth with her rich, soulful vocals that complement Dalyboy’s raw, expressive delivery. “We wanted something universal. A song that feels good, sounds good, and reminds people they’re already rich if they have strength, love, and life,” she revealed.
Since its release, the single has been making waves on social media, sparking dance challenges, fan covers, and influencer content across TikTok and Instagram. Music industry insiders predict “I’m Rich I’m a Big Boy” could soon become a staple on global Afrobeat playlists and feature prominently on summer festival stages.
