Born in Germany to a Cameroonian mother and a German father, Jenny Kuiper grew up with an appreciation for culture, craftsmanship, and precision. In 2021 she relocated to Dubai, a city that thrives on innovation and luxury.

In 2024 she joined Dxberience, a Dubai-rooted luxury lifestyle management group celebrated for its seamless, high-touch service to discerning clients worldwide. Now in Nigeria to connect the country to the world of luxury, she spoke with Sunday Sun recently about her views of Nigeria, her brand, her likes amidst other things.

Your background is so international. How has that shaped you?

I think it gave me a natural respect for culture and craftsmanship. Germany taught me structure and punctuality; my Cameroonian side taught me warmth and a love for vibrant detail. Those qualities meet perfectly in luxury, where you need both precision and soul.

How did you feel coming to Nigeria? You must have heard stories about the country

I mean, it’s different, people here are super friendly, super nice and I’m pretty sure the time I’m here, I will learn a lot.

How did Dubai change the way you see luxury?

Dubai is a playground for the world’s best brands, but it’s also a city that moves fast. Living there showed me that real luxury isn’t about the flash you see on social media. It’s about access—quietly getting what others can’t—and about service that anticipates your needs before you even speak.

You hosted a high-profile event with Providus Bank earlier this year. Tell us about it?

Yes, in May 2025 we partnered with Providus Bank for an exclusive Lagos showcase. It was our official introduction to Nigeria’s luxury community and a perfect opportunity to demonstrate the seamless experience we promise—from rare pieces on display to the white-glove service our clients can expect.

What makes Dxberience different from other personal shopping services?

Access and assurance. We work only with vetted boutiques, official brand partners and collectors we know personally. If an item doesn’t meet our standard, it never reaches the client. It’s that simple.

How would you describe your own style?

Elegant and timeless. I love clean lines and pieces that whisper rather than shout. Quality fabrics, perfect tailoring—those matter more to me than trends.

What does luxury mean to you?

For me, luxury is time and access. It’s knowing that the rarest piece can be yours without stress, and that every detail has been handled perfectly behind the scenes.

You look like a model. Have you ever contested in a beauty pageant?

No. I did some shootings for some sport brands, like Adidas, Nike, New Balance, and so on. So, sometimes people are requesting me to be their face of something for a campaign. But, this is just a side.

What’s your kind of style?

My style is, I would say, more elegant, sophisticated, mature. I’m not too much into all those flashy things. I like to keep it simple as I said, more elegant.

Where is your favourite travelling place?

I would say, when it comes to Europe, South of France, Monaco, Nice. I love Dubai. I mean, I was living there, or I’m still living there. I’m going back and forth. Otherwise, Greece is very nice and of course, Nigeria. There are so many lovely and great places all over the world.

Have you tried Nigerian food before?

I love jollof rice. I love plantain. I actually like the spice. I mean, I’m not used to eating super spicy food, although my mum is Cameroonian and they eat these small peppers. But I’m getting used to it.

What do you miss when you are not in Nigeria?

I really miss the energy, I really miss the people, I really miss my suya, my kilishi, my jollof rice, proper jollof rice. I mean, Dubai’s jollof rice comes close, but nothing can beat the original jollof rice from Nigeria.

Tell us more about Dxberience?
