Arsenal took a second minute lead against Kairat Almaty FC but lost it about four minutes later in the final group stage match of the UEFA Champions League, with the match recording three goals in the first 15 minutes.

As at press time, the match, one of the 18 on the final group stage match day, was 2-1, with Arsenal dominating play.

The English team took the lead from a tricky pass that meandered through Kairat’s defence.

Less than two minutes later, an Arsenal defender brought down the opposing attacker in the six-yard box.

A check by the referee confirmed it was a penalty infringement.

The goalkeeper was sent the wrong way.

Arsenal took the lead back in the 15th minute.
