American rapper Nicki Minaj has revealed that she has received a Trump Gold Card, a document linked to fast-tracked United States citizenship, after openly praising President Donald Trump.
The Trump Gold Card is part of a new US immigration programme introduced under the Trump administration that offers wealthy foreign nationals a fast-track route to lawful permanent residency and eventual citizenship in exchange for a minimum contribution of about $1 million to the US government and a processing fee.
However, Minaj claimed she received her card “free of charge.”
Minaj disclosed this in a post on X on Wednesday, where she shared a picture of the gold-coloured card and suggested that her US citizenship process was already in progress.

“Residency? Residency? The cope is coping. Finalizing that citizenship paperwork as we speak as per MY wonderful, gracious, charming President. Thanks to the petition. I wouldn’t have done it without you. Oh CitizenNIKA you are thee moment. Gold Trump card free of charge,” she wrote in another post.
The development followed Minaj’s recent public endorsement of Trump, during which she described herself as one of his strongest supporters and defended his policies amid backlash online.
The rapper, who was born in Trinidad and Tobago, has lived in the United States for years and previously said she was a legal permanent resident but not a citizen.
Her open support for Trump and the announcement of her citizenship process have continued to stir debate on social media.
