March 13, (THEWILL) — The United States has announced a reward of up to $10 million for information on Iran’s Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, and nine other senior Iranian military and intelligence officials, as tensions escalate in the ongoing Middle East conflict.

The reward, announced through the Rewards for Justice initiative, targets leaders linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and its affiliated security agencies, which Washington accuses of planning and coordinating terrorist activities globally.

According to U.S. authorities, individuals who provide credible information leading to the identification or location of the officials could receive up to $10 million and may also qualify for relocation to the United States.

The government urged anyone with relevant information to submit tips through a secure Tor-based platform or encrypted messaging services such as Signal.

Officials said the targeted figures are believed to be key decision-makers directing IRGC operations and security policies. The IRGC, an elite branch of Iran’s armed forces, plays a central role in the country’s military operations and political influence.

Among those named alongside Khamenei are senior Iranian security officials, including the country’s national security adviser, intelligence chief, and interior minister, according to U.S. authorities.

The move comes amid heightened hostilities between the United States and Iran following a series of U.S. and Israeli strikes that targeted Iranian leadership and military facilities.

The strikes reportedly killed several top Iranian officials, including Khamenei’s father, former supreme leader Ali Khamenei, in late February.

Since assuming leadership, Mojtaba Khamenei has remained largely out of public view, fuelling speculation about his condition after reports suggested he may have been injured during the attacks.

Iran has rejected U.S. accusations that its leaders direct terrorist activities abroad, describing Washington’s actions as politically motivated attempts to justify sanctions and military pressure.

The reward offer marks one of the most significant attempts by Washington to obtain intelligence on Iran’s top leadership as the confrontation between the two countries deepens.
