Leaders, associates, and stakeholders on Saturday celebrated Abdul-Ganiyu Obasa, the Chairman Agege Local Government Area, on his birthday in Lagos.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that many Lagosians also took to social media to felicitate Obasa on the occasion.
Akinpelu Johnson, Chairman Alimosho LG, said Obasa has shown that “youth leadership guarantees a brighter tomorrow”, praying for wisdom, strength, and good health for him.
Adekunle Ofere, Agege All Progressives Congress (APC) leader, described Obasa as vibrant and result-oriented, noting commitment to youth empowerment, and praying for fruitful years in service.


Omotunde Afolabi, Orile Agege LCDA Legislative Council Leader, aired a radio jingle, praising dedication to community development; council prayed for prosperity and divine protection.

Ganiyu Egunjobi, immediate past Chairman of Agege LGA, recalled witnessing Obasa’s journey from childhood to leadership, praying for strength, health, and impactful service to humanity.
Akinola Idowu, Chairman, Orile-Agege LCDA, described Obasa as visionary leader whose dedication to grassroots development inspires Agege and beyond, saying he sets an emulation standard.
Idowu said: “As you mark another year, I pray Almighty grants you wisdom, good health and prosperity to continue steering Agege Government with excellence.”
Monsurat Ajayi, Iyaloja-General of Agege, said his leadership inspired hope and progress, praying for prosperous years and commending his support for market activities.
