2027: Primate Ayodele Predicts Three Nigerians Could Derail Tinubu’s Second-Term Bid

Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has declared that President Bola Tinubu’s bid for a second term in 2027 could be significantly undermined — not by Labour Party’s Peter Obi alone, but by the emergence of three influential Nigerians.

Speaking on Sunday via a statement issued by his media aide, Oluwatosin Osho, Primate Ayodele noted that while Obi remains a strong political figure, he does not possess the singular strength to unseat President Tinubu.

According to the cleric, only a coalition involving three key individuals — whose identities he said he would reveal later — could pose a formidable threat to Tinubu’s re-election ambition.

“Peter Obi alone cannot weaken President Tinubu’s ambition. Obi alone cannot be President of the country, and the coalition hasn’t gotten the people it needs to weaken President Tinubu’s second-term ambition,” Ayodele said.

The cleric acknowledged Tinubu’s performance so far, stating that the president has surpassed his predecessor and holds the capacity to do more if given another term.

However, he warned that the involvement of the unnamed trio could change the game.

“Tinubu has worked more than Buhari and he will do better for his second term if Nigerians allow him to win. But the involvement of three certain people will weaken his victory,” he added.

Primate Ayodele further advised the president to be strategic with appointments and to focus on the North, warning that betrayal from that region could jeopardize his chances in 2027.

“Tinubu must work on the North very well so that he won’t be betrayed by those whom he believes. If Tinubu doesn’t put the right people in some positions, his victory will be truncated,” he said.

He also hinted at three critical actions the president must take to secure re-election, though he did not elaborate on what those steps are.
