The nation’s oil and gas industry was yesterday thrown into a panic mood  over the purported resignation of the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Ltd, Mr. Bayo Ojulari.

An online news oulet had last night reported the forced resignation of Ojulari.

Efforts to confirm the report as at the time of going to press proved abortive as the state oil corporation has been without a spokesperson for over one month following the resignation of its erstwhile Chief Corporate Communications Officer(CCCO), Mr. Olufemi Soneye.
