Participants of the Social Innovation and Leadership Bootcamp (SILB) which held in Delta State, have lauded the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) for its support, describing it as key to the success of the programme and the empowerment of young leaders across Africa.

According to a recent official statement, the delegates noted that the bootcamp provided over 150 young change-makers with opportunities to build leadership skills, deepen their understanding of democracy, and develop innovative ideas for social progress.

They assert that initiatives like this are essential for nurturing a generation of leaders capable of driving meaningful change in their communities and beyond.

The event was officially opened by His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, represented by the Commissioner for Youth Development, Barr. ThankGod Harry Trakiriowei, who encouraged delegates to channel their ideas toward meaningful societal development.
