The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammadu Sa’adu Abubakar III, on Sunday paid a courtesy visit to President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, State House, Abuja.
The visit was confirmed by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
Onanuga, who announced the visit on X alongside official photographs of the meeting, wrote: “Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammadu Sa’adu Abubakar III visited President Tinubu at the State House Abuja on Sunday March 15.”

President Tinubu and the Sultan are Nigeria’s highest political and spiritual authorities, respectively.
The Sultan serves as the traditional and religious leader of Muslims across the country.
