Creative designer, Eno Basse, has unveiled her latest work, a multi- gemstones ring, to a select audience in Lagos.
Basse has designed over 200 pieces of jewellery in the past four to five years, after abandoning her primary profession as an engineer.

At the gathering tagged, Aura Experience, she explained that the ring is made up of ruby, sapphire and emerald, which are the three major gemstones apart from diamonds.
Remarking on the flooding of the country with faux diamonds and gemstones, she said: “I’ve seen people buy all sorts of fake things and come to me to certify them. I’m noticing that there are a lot of synthetic gemstones in the Nigerian market now. It’s getting very saturated. It’s something that we should speak up more about. I’ve had clients come to me with gemstones that are fake that they bought thinking they were natural. That does happen and people have to be careful.
“As I said, I’m a gemologist. I’m also a goldsmith. I’m very thorough about the items we give out. About the quality of our diamonds, gemstones and jewellery in general.”
According to her, Aura Experience, is aimed to engage with her very loyal clients and people that have been present with the brand and people that want to know more about diamonds and what it is that we do.
“So, this event, in particular, is multisensory. So people get to experience diamonds with all five senses, smell, touch, hearing, tasting and sight.
