United States rapper Lil Tjay has been fingered as the instigator in the altercation that led to the shooting of his colleague Offset.
Speaking via the probable cause affidavit, the police disclosed that at about 7:22 pm on Monday, Lil Tjay “directed members of his party to start a fight with another group of males” while at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
It was revealed that during the fight, one of Lil Tjay’s associates pulled a gun and fired at Offset, injuring him.
Per the documents, the police reviewed security footage of Lil Tjay getting out of his vehicle, pointing at Offset, and leading his group over to the hip hop star.
Lil Tjay, who was arrested and booked after the altercation, reportedly filmed the entire incident on his mobile phone.
Following his arrest on a charge of misdemeanour disorderly conduct-affray, Lil Tjay was released on Tuesday, during which he called Offset a “rat”.
Offset is currently recovering at a local hospital and was photographed when he was wheeled outside for a cigarette.
