Nigerian Afrobeats maestro Davido has revealed a collaborative musical venture with United States singer Chris Brown.
Davido, who made the disclosure during a recent episode of the Swift Conversations podcast, added that his focus is now on more African-inclined music.
The ‘Unavailable’ crooner also shared that he is still open to collaborating with American artists.
“The music I am making now is very African. In this next project, I am working with a lot of my original producers from back home.
“However, I am still an American so definitely there’s going to be collaborations. Me and Chris Brown got an album coming next year,” Davido stated.
Davido and Chris Brown have had a long-standing musical partnership since 2018, with six to eight notable tracks made by the duo.
Some of their collaborations include ‘Blow My Mind’ (2019), ‘Lower Body’ (2019), ‘Shopping Spree’ (2020), and ‘Under the Influence’ (2019).
