Popular beauty entrepreneur Happiness Adebayo and her husband, Issa Adebayo, have once again captured the attention of social media users as they marked their 10th wedding anniversary with an emotional celebration that turned into a renewed declaration of love and commitment.
Known online as Mummy Glee and Mr Still, the couple chose to celebrate more than a decade of marriage by reflecting on the journey that has kept them together for 15 years — a relationship they say has been built on friendship, trust, loyalty and mutual growth.
In the days leading up to the anniversary, the pair shared heartfelt moments from their relationship on social media, giving followers an intimate look into the love story that has endeared them to many fans. What began as a simple anniversary countdown soon evolved into a series of emotional surprises and symbolic gestures that kept followers talking online.
The highlight of the celebration came during their anniversary dinner when Mr Still surprised his wife with a fresh marriage proposal, this time presenting her with a ring in what she described as a deeply emotional moment.
Excited by the gesture, Mummy Glee took to Instagram to share her reaction with fans.
“This is the first time I’m getting proposed to with a ring,” she wrote.
She further revealed that her husband told her to consider all the ceremonies they held in 2016 merely as an introduction, insisting that he was now ready for the “real wedding.”
“After ten years, my husband proposed to me legally and I said yes,” she wrote. “He also said all the weddings we did in 2016, I should automatically see them as introduction and that he’s about to do the real thing. Now, I don’t understand if it’s just court wedding or the whole thing.
I found myself lost in love.”
The beauty entrepreneur also disclosed that she had publicly given her husband a new nickname during the anniversary dinner.
“I told our guests at the wedding anniversary dinner last night that my husband got a new name — ‘My Lion,’” she added.
According to her, the renewed proposal is not just about another ceremony, but about intentionally celebrating the life they have built together over the years.
She hinted that the couple are now preparing to remarry in what she described as a complete retelling of their love story.
“Not just a civil wedding; not just a celebration; but a complete remaking of our love story,” she said. “Every vow, every promise, every moment will be done again intentionally, beautifully, and this time even grander.”
For the couple, the planned ceremony is expected to symbolize not only 10 years of marriage but also 15 years of friendship, resilience and shared experiences.
“Because some love stories deserve more than one wedding,” she concluded. “And ours certainly does.”
