Italian-Nigerian singer Modola has announced the release of her new single, “Kupe,” featuring rising artist BhadBoi OML, as she prepares to make her first musical statement of the year.
The track, scheduled for release on April 10, signals Modola’s return to the spotlight and is expected to reinforce her growing presence within the Afro-fusion space. Described as a high-energy, dance-ready record, “Kupe” aligns with the rhythm-driven style both artists are known for, with early indications suggesting it could gain traction in clubs and party scenes.
The upcoming release follows a steady rise for the singer, who spent much of the previous year building momentum through live performances. One of her notable appearances came during the Olamide Live in London concert, where she was introduced on stage by Olamide.
The event also featured performances from Seyi Vibez and Asake, with additional appearances by Lil Kesh and Darkoo, drawing a large audience in London.
Beyond her stage presence, Modola has also offered insight into her evolving creative process. Speaking on her previous single “Dynamite,” produced by Oodun, the singer highlighted a more deliberate approach to crafting music with international appeal—a direction that continues with “Kupe.”
With the addition of BhadBoi OML, the new single underscores a collaborative effort aimed at sustaining her upward trajectory while setting the tone for what is expected to be an active year for the artist.
