Nook International Fashion Weekend (NIFW) has wrapped up its 5th edition on a high note, unveiling Uranta Godswill and Peace-lover Thompson as standout beneficiaries of its growing creative platform.
Both honourees received ₦3 million each, with organisers describing the reward as an investment in nurturing young talents and empowering the next generation in Nigeria’s fashion industry.
Since its inception, NIFW has evolved into a major platform for both emerging and established designers, showcasing creativity through runway presentations while promoting innovation, decency, and sustainability in fashion.
The 5th edition reinforced the brand’s commitment to using fashion as a tool for cultural expression and advocacy while continuing to shape conversations around responsible fashion.
Organisers have already announced plans for the 6th edition scheduled for February 2027, which will feature its Model Summit, Designer’s Summit, and other pre-event activities aimed at equipping industry players with essential skills.
NIFW says it remains focused on redefining Nigerian fashion on the global stage.
