From bold, contemporary silhouettes to heritage-inspired craftsmanship, Africa Fashion Week London (AFWL) 2025 promises an unforgettable celebration of style and storytelling.

The two-day couture extravaganza which opens on August 9, 2025, to end the next 10, 2025, at Space House in London is marking an exciting milestone as it celebrates 15 years of showcasing the vibrant creativity, culture, and innovation of African fashion.

 Here are some of the top designers to watch at this year’s event:

Ejiro Amos Tafiri

A Nigerian fashion brand renowned for timeless garments that seamlessly blend African heritage with contemporary aesthetics. 

Silvia Osawe 

An Italian-Nigerian textile designer whose inclusive creations reflect culture, identity, and self-expression whilst drawing inspiration from her Edo heritage.

Zainab Olatoyinbo

Zainab Olatoyinbo’s brand is known for edgy silhouettes and bold detailing that exude confidence and originality, making a strong statement on the runway.

This West African womenswear brand celebrates cultural heritage while addressing sustainable development goals.

The event will also pay tribute to African fashion icons who have shaped the industry’s landscape.
