Nigerian film actress Scarlet Gomez has explained why her husband has no issue with her performing kissing scenes in films, stressing that trust and maturity define their relationship.
Speaking during a recent appearance on Curiosity Made Me Ask, the actress addressed the reality of romantic scenes in Nollywood and how they are often misunderstood by outsiders.
The conversation took a direct turn when media personality Isbaeu remarked, “I don’t know how you people do it oo you’ll kiss somebody and go home and say say it is Joshua I kissed. It’s not Joshua you kissed, it was Yomi Fash lanso you kissed.”
Gomez responded without hesitation, making her position clear.
“I’m married to a man, not a boy. He doesn’t have a small ego, and he trusts his wife. Moving on.”
Her response reflects a strong sense of confidence in her marriage and highlights the level of understanding between both partners.
For her, acting remains a profession, and the boundaries between work and personal life are clearly defined and respected.
