Nollywood actress and producer, Funke Akindele has denied snubbing Fuji icon, Wasiu Alabi Pasuma at a recent public function.
The billionaire filmmaker made the clarification in an X post on Sunday.
An X user, @UOladiti, had posted a 15-second video and claimed the popular actress snubbed Pasuma.
It was learnt that the incident occurred at the birthday function of another popular actress, Faithia Balogun.
Reacting, Akindele denied snubbing the fuji musician at the function, noting that she greeted and danced with him, a claim corroborated by longer videos of the event circulating on social media.
The extended clip show Akindele warmly greeting Pasuma, standing close to him, smiling, and engaging in friendly chatter before moving on to greet other guests, including Balogun.
She accused those pushing the narrative of pursuing an “evil” agenda.
Akindele said, “Snub? Hell no. Stop the negativity pls. I saw him, greeted him, danced with him. pasuma is my Egbon (elder). Pls you all should stop this evil.”
Akindele is no stranger to controversy about snubbing fellow celebrities.
Weeks earlier, she faced severe online criticism for snubbing fellow actress, Toyin Abraham at the premiere of Iyabo Ojo’s movie project, “The Return of Arinzo”.
