Miss E.B.O.N.Y Ambassador Innovation Pageant Franchise was launched on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, in Nigeria, after a similar event was held on July 5, 2025, in the United Kingdom.
The event was part of activities marking a decade of empowering, celebrating and showcasing the beauty, talent and resilience of women across the African diaspora.
The 10th anniversary event was a milestone that celebrated the E.B.O.N.Y journey. It also signalled the beginning of a new era, one that invites event organizers, cultural leaders and partners across 45 African countries to become part of the Ebony Ambassadors family.
The colourful event, which was graced by dignitaries from all walks of life from across various countries, particularly in fashion, tourism, hospitality and culture, among others, was entertaining and educative. Significantly, opportunities were presented for local organizers to host their own Miss E.B.O.N.Y Ambassador competitions in their respective countries. Each local winner will proudly represent her nation on the international stage at the annual Miss Ebony Grand Finale in London, competing alongside other exceptional young women from across the continent.
The organizers said it went beyond a beauty pageant to become a platform for cultural expression, leadership, empowerment and unity: “Ebony is building a legacy that celebrates African excellence, amplifies female voices, and connects communities globally.”
