Uchechi Okereke has announced the release of his latest film, Driven by Love, which is set to premiere on YouTube via his channel, Global Crown TV, today, April 4.
The filmmaker and Chief Executive Officer of Global Crown TV disclosed that the highly anticipated project explores themes of love, betrayal, family, struggle, and success—offering a reflection of real-life experiences and contemporary societal challenges.
Speaking on the inspiration behind the film, Okereke noted that the story draws from personal experiences and observations within his immediate environment. According to him, the goal was to create a production that not only entertains but also educates and resonates emotionally with viewers. He added that telling relatable stories has remained a central focus of his platform.
Driven by Love features a cast of talented actors including Omeche Oko, Victory Michael, Sonita Fred, and Ifeoma Odurukwe, with direction by Diamond Kater Boshi. Okereke commended the cast for their performances, stating that they brought depth and authenticity to their respective roles.
Highlighting what sets the film apart, the producer emphasised its compelling storyline and improved production quality compared to his previous works. He explained that particular attention was given to delivering a unique narrative that audiences can connect with, especially in relation to issues prevalent in modern families.
Okereke further revealed that the film will premiere at 4:30 p.m. on April 4 on his YouTube channel, Global Crown TV, encouraging viewers to subscribe and enable notifications to stay updated.
On the message embedded in the film, he stressed the importance of accountability, perseverance, and the enduring power of love. “It is more than just entertainment—it carries a message that every action has consequences, perseverance pays, and love ultimately prevails,” he said.
