Wizkid, Davido rivalry fuels their relevance — Blaqbonez – The Sun Nigeria

Nigerian rapper, Blaqbonez claims that rivalry among fans is one of the reasons Afrobeats megastars Wizkid and Davido have remained relevant in the music industry for nearly two decades.

Blaqbonez stated in an interview with YouTuber Korty EO that while musicians can adore one another, fan rivalry should not be discouraged.

He asserted that without competition, Wizkid and Davido would lose their relevance.

“Wizkid and Davido can never fade. That hatred is the reason why they will be relevant forever. When they love each other, it is over. Love is for children. Artist can love each other, but the fans should never love each other,” he expressed.

According to Blaqbonez, rivalry between fanbases keep artists trending.
