truQ Wins $100K FINCA Competition Grant in Fintech for Financial Inclusion
truQ, a leading logistics-fintech company, has been named the winner in the Fintech for Financial Inclusion Category at the esteemed FINCA Competition Grant, surpassing over 300 competitors through a rigorous judging and pitching process.
The $100,000 grant will be channeled into expanding truQ’s finance offerings for small-scale transporters, giving them greater access to credit and financial tools to scale their operations. This aligns with truQ’s mission to transform logistics for micro-transporters and small logistics businesses.
“This grant is a timely validation of our vision to empower small-scale transporters with the financial support they need to thrive,” said Foluso Ojo, Founder & CEO of truQ. “We are deeply honored to be recognized by FINCA, and this grant will enable us to scale our impact and product offerings across the board.”
truQ’s finance solutions are built to digitize logistics operations, provide affordable financing access, and ultimately help transporters increase earnings, reduce downtime, and operate more sustainably.
Other winners at the competition include Cladfy (Kenya), which secured 2nd place with a $60,000 grant, and 10mg (Nigeria), which walked away with $40,000 in 3rd place in the Fintech for Financial Inclusion category.
The FINCA Competition Grant is a global initiative by FINCA Ventures that supports high-impact businesses with social and economic potential. truQ’s victory underscores its leadership in bridging the financial inclusion gap in Nigeria’s logistics sector.
