Nigerian economist, businesswoman and empowerment advocate Grace Ofure Ibhakhomu is set to mark her birthday with a five-hour prayer and empowerment gathering in Lagos.
The event, titled “5 Hours Prayer Challenge & Empowerment Gathering,” is scheduled for May 2, 2026, and is expected to draw prominent faith leaders, entrepreneurs and professionals for what organisers describe as a high-impact spiritual experience.
Ibhakhomu, also known as Grace Ofure, is the Chief Executive Officer of Lifecard International Investment Limited, as well as the founder of Lifecard University and the Grace Ofure Foundation. She is widely recognised for her contributions to real estate development, philanthropy and empowerment initiatives.
The “birthday edition” of the programme will be hosted by the celebrant and is billed to commence at 8:00 a.m. at Oriental Hotels.
Speaking on the objective of the gathering, Ibhakhomu said the event will combine intensive prayer sessions with empowerment-focused discussions aimed at fostering spiritual growth alongside personal and professional development.
The programme is being supported by Dr. Princess Oghene, a Nigerian entrepreneur and philanthropist, through the platform of the GAH Elite Club, in celebration of one of its distinguished members.
Oghene, who serves as Group Managing Director of GMYT Group and is known for her leadership in fashion education and strategic communications, noted that the initiative reflects a growing trend of faith-based programmes that integrate spirituality with leadership and economic empowerment.
Organisers disclosed that the event has attracted support from corporate and faith-based institutions, signaling strong institutional backing.
Participants are expected from across Nigeria and the diaspora, with arrangements in place for both physical and virtual attendance.
The gathering underscores the increasing intersection of faith, leadership and socio-economic influence in Nigeria, as religious platforms continue to evolve into hubs for networking, mentorship and empowerment.
