Osun: Adeleke no suppose borrow to pay salaries – Economic expert, Ogunyemi
An economist at di Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Dr. Tunji Ogunyemi don warn Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State against borrowing from banks to pay salaries of di state civil servants.
Ogunyemi yarn make Adeleke pay salaries based on di money wey dey di state coffers and make hin no go banks to borrow money to settle salaries.
Also, Ogunyemi, inside interview on radio wey dey monitore for Osogbo on Friday, yarn say di Osun Inland Revenue Service, OIRS, di state Internal Generation Revenue agency na hin dem suppose use to generate more funds instead of borrowing money to pay salaries.
