Obanikoro don narrate how Fayose allegedly take N1.2bn for election
Di former Minister of State for Defence, Mr Musiliu Obanikoro, on Tuesday, narrate before one Federal High Court for Lagos State how N1.2 billion reach di hand of former Gov Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti, with di help of aircraft for election.
Fayose dey under prosecution by di Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for fraud and money laundering.
Di first prosecution happen on October 22, 2018, before Justice Mojisola Olatotegun alongside his company, Spotless Investment Ltd on 11 counts.
Although hin plead say he no dey guilty to di charges and na so dem grant am bail on October 24, 2018, for di sum of N50 million with sureties.
However, di defendant bin go court again before Justice Chukwujekwu Aneke on July 2, 2019, after dem withdraw di case from Justice Olatoregun following EFCC petition.
Fayose follow plead not guilty to di charges, and dem allow am continue on di bail wey dem grant before.

In December 2021, di commission call dia 11th witness, one Mrs Joanne Tolulope, wey narrate how one Abiodun Agbele, wey be associate of Fayose, allegedly buy property worth millions of Naira for di defendants.
When dem call di case again on Tuesday, Mr Rotimi Jacobs (SAN) announce appearance for EFCC.
Messrs Ola Olanipekun (SAN) and Olalekan Ojo (SAN) announce appearances for di first and second defendants, respectively.
Olanipekun follow call on di 12th prosecution witness, Obanikoro, make he testify.
Obanikoro kon tell di court say when hin be Minister of State for Defence, hin dey operate one company known as Sivan Mcmera wey dem later use for purpose of security operations for Lagos.
He tell d court say di purpose na to shut out di activities of terrorists from the state, following intelligence reports.
