Ogun Government approve palliatives

In line with di current realities for di kontri and commitment of Ogun State Government to reduce di effects of removal of fuel subsidy on di well-being of good people of Ogun State, di administration of His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, don approve palliatives and some measures for immediate implementation

A statement signed by Tokunbo Talabi, Secretary to di state government highlight di palliatives.

1.Cash palliative of #10,000 for each Public Servant including Pensioners to enable workers to cope with di economic shocks wey removal of Fuel Subsidy bring for a period of 3months in di first instance with effect from July, 2023.

2.Approval of Hazard Allowance for all Health and Medical Personnel for di State.

3. Approval of Peculiar Allowance for Public Servants for di state.

4. Immediate release of Letters of Promotion in respect of 2021 and 2022.

5. Payment of March and April, 2023 Leave Bonuses for Public Servants for di State.

6. Immediate cash-backing for di quarterly payment of gratuities to pensioners.

7. Di Ministries, Departments and Agencies go work out modalities of ensuring say 20% of dia staff strengths dey off-duty daily to ease di effect of recent increase in fuel price among Public Servants.
