Banks don get marching order to sell-off DisCos’ shares

Banks wey dey hold majority stakes for six electricity distribution companies (DisCos) yesterday collect marching order from di Federal Government to divest within 12 months. Minister of Power, Abubakar Aliyu, wey give di ultimatum, yarn say di government bin dey monitor di operations and divestment process of di six DisCos to ensure compliance with di core objectives of restructuring di power firms.
