Adesua Etomi-Wellington, actress and wife of Nigerian singer-turned-politician, Banky W, don share how she react when her husband tell her about hin decision to join politics.
For recent interview with HipTV, Adesua reveal say she bin no like di idea from di beginning and e make her bin dey disturbed when Banky W tell her of hin plans enter politics.
However, she yarn ay di worry disappear when she realise say hin dey pursue higher purpose.

“When Banky tarn say hin wan go into politics, I bin dey worried. I don tok this matter plenty times before but I also believe say that purpose dey more important than fear. I wan see am prove purpose, so hin get my support 100 percent.” Na wetin she tok be that.
For di year 2019, Banky W join politics to run for di federal constituency of Eti-Osa for di House of Representatives under di platform of di default Modern Democratic Party, but hin lose for di general elections.
Also, that time, hin lose to Babajide Obanikoro, di candidate of di All Progressive Congress (APC).
Banky W, no gree back down, hin comot for MDP go meet di Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2022 and hin win di ticket to contest for seat for di House of Representatives for di forthcoming 2023 general elections.
