Sit-at-home order: Enugu Govt. don give conditions to re-open sealed shops

Enugu State Government don give conditions for di re-opening of 107 shops wey dem seal on Tuesday for obeying di Monday sit-at-home order by factional members of di proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

Di News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports say 107 shops, including malls and two banks, bin dey sealed because dem allegedly observing an “illegal sit-at-home order” on Monday for di state.

Among di sealed shops na 78 at Ogbete Main market, including Ecobank and Fidelity bank branches inside di market, 24 for Old Artisan Market and five for SPAR Mall.

Di team bin seal one shop for di Eastern Shop Mall but later unseal am.

Also, na personnel from Enugu state government in conjunction with di Enugu Capital Territory Development Authority (ECTDA) na hin carry out di excersice.

Di Secretary to Enugu State government, Prof. Chidiebere Onyia, inside statement on Tuesday for Enugu, yarn say all sealed businesses go remain sealed for one week.

In addition, hin yarn say after one week, di owners of di shops go dey required to provide dia current tax clearance certificates and all other relevant revenue documents.
