Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State, on Friday, shun di summon of tribunal, hin no gree appear before di Governorship Election Petition Tribunal.
According to report, di Tribunal on Thursday, order substituted service of a subpoena on Mbah through hin lawyer.
Dis matter following an application by counsel to di People’s Redemption Party, PRP, Barr Alex Amujiogo.
Di subpoena bin dey immediately served on Mbah lawyer by Amujiogo.
However, when di case come up today, Friday, di PRP counsel tell di Tribunal say Mbah no honour di summons.

Also, di lead counsel to di Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Barr Anthony Ani (SAN) tell journalists after di Tribunal sitting say di petitioner no comply with di provisions of di law while serving di subpoena.
He yarn say di Governor for dey ready to appear if to say di petitioners do di right thing.
According to wetin Ani tok, “The petitioner has not complied with the mandatory provisions of the law; the default provision, respecting election petitions, is the Federal High Court Rules, which is very clear on service of Subpoena Testificandum or Duces Tecum.
Meanwhile, di Tribunal wey dey led by Justice K. M. Akano adjourn di case to June 24, 2023, for di 1st Respondent (the Independent National Electoral Commission) to open dia defence.
