Ahead of March 18 governorship and State House of Assembly elections, di Nigeria Police, Akwa Ibom State command don organize peace accord for di candidates.

Di governorship candidates of all di major political parties dey present for di event.

As di event dey go on, di parties wey dey present na: PDP, APC, YPP, LP, NNPP, ACCORD, ZLP, PRP, APM, AA, ADP, AAC, APGA, SDP and BP.

For di command headquarters, Ikot Akpanabia, di Commissioner of Police, CP Olatoye Durosinmi advise di candidates ay make dem warn dia supporters against any kind of violence or to dey hire thugs. Hin yarn say di police no go hesitate to fight anybody wey engage in such act.

Durosinmi mention say di peace accord or Akwa Ibom na to promote peace for every aspects and to make candidates avoid inflammatory comments wey fit caue violence before, during or after di polls.
