Election dey face serious threat of cancellation – INEC

FCT, Abuja – Di Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) don warn say 2023 general election dey face serious threat of cancellation if di waves of insecurity for some parts of di country no improve. Di INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, give the warning on Monday, January 9, in Abuja at the Validation of Election Security Training Resources.

Despite di security threats, INEC assure Nigerians say dem no go leave anything to chance to ensure intensive and extensive security for election personnel, materials and processes.

Prof. Zurusaid di National Security Adviser (NSA), Gen. Mohammed Babagana Monguno (retd), and di INEC chairman go make sure say conducive environment dey provided for di successful conduct of di 2023 general election.
