Guinea Passport: Group don file fresh suit to stop Tinubu swearing-in
A civil society organization under di support of di Incorporated Trustees of Advocacy for Societal Rights Advancement and Development Initiative, ASRADI, on Tuesday, approach di Federal High Court for Abuja with fresh suit wey dey seek to stop di scheduled swearing-in of di President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, on May 29.
Di group claim say di President-elect lie on oath about hin possession of a Guinean Passport.
Also, dem file affidavit of urgency where dem requested for immediate intervention of di court in view of di planned swearing-in ceremony.
In addition to that, di court apply for order of mandamus to compel di Inspector General of Police, IGP, to investigate and recommend Tinubu for prosecution if hin dey guilty of perjury regarding hin Guinean citizenship.
ASRADI tell di court say di President-elect lie on oath when he no gree give information about hin Guinean citizenship inside di Form EC9 wey hin submit to di Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in aide of hin qualification to contest di presidential election wey take place on February 25.
