“Anarchy no go dey if court remove you” – LP react to President Tinubu statement
Di Labour Party (LP) don react to President Tinubu statement, dem yarn say anarchy no go dey for Nigeria if court remove President Bola Tinubu from office.
Tinubu bin ask di presidential election tribunal make dem throw out di petition wey LP file to nullify hin victory for di 2023 general elections, on di grounds say hin no secure 25% of votes cast for di Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Tinubu, through hin counsel, Wole Olanipekun, inside a final written address to di tribunal, claim say FCT na di 37th state for electoral purposes.
According to di president, any other interpretation go “lead to absurdity, chaos, anarchy and alteration of di very intention of di legislature”.
However, LP react to Tinubu statement inside statement wey dey signed by dia National Publicity Secretary, Obiora Ifoh, yarn say Tinubu remarks no dey necessary since di matter dey for court hand.
