Naija don Lose N16.25trn To Crude Oil Theft for 11 Years —NEITI

Nigeria don lose total of 619.7 million barrels of crude oil wey dey valued at $46.16 billion or N16.25 trillion to crude oil theft between 2009 to 2020, Na di Nigeria Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (NEITI) yarn this one.

E follow dey supported by di Federal Government decision to set up Special Investigative Panel on Oil Theft and Losses.

Di agency make di disclosure for statement by di Head, Communications and Advocacy, Obiageli Onuorah for Abuja on Wednesday.

For breakdown, Nigeria for 2009, lose  69.49 million barrels valued at $4.31 billion while for 2010, 2011 and 2012, 28.31million, 38.61million and 51.58 million barrels of crude oil valued at $2.29billion, $4.39 billion and $5.82 billion na hin dem lose.
