The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) don throw warning give all commercial banks for Nigeria say may dem stop to dey put old Naira note inside ATM Automated Teller Machines (ATMs). CBN tell the bank say make dem follow the instruction wey dem give banks to dey load the new naira note inside the ATM Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) not the old naira note.
Person wey be the CBN Director on Currency Operations, Mr Ahmed Umar, nah him yarn this talk for Abuja on Monday, Jan. 9 say may commercial bank stop to dey put old naira note for ATMs.
Umar, yarn shook mouth for the matter during a Training Session for State Directors, National Orientation Agency (NOA) on Redesign of Currency Notes Policy, said dem don warn all commercial banks say make dem stop to dey put naira old notes inside ATMs or face penalty.
