Prof bassey don ask government to make education one of dia priority by increasing di budgetary allocation to education sector in order to enhance di quality of research and development for our countri.
Hin tok say although di government don try well well in providing grants for universities to fund research for di countri, but hin go still beg dem say make dem put more efforts.
Prof. Okon tok say di essence of di workshop na to sharpen di proposal writing skills of academic staff for tertiary institution in such a way dat dem go fit attract more grants to di University.
Di workshop also feature paper presentations by other scholars like, Prof. Mbe Nja, Prof. Chris C. Chukwurah, Prof. Ajayi Omoogun and Mr. Yohanna Joseph Waliya.
